Our classes are designed to develop student’s bodies, technique, and artistry. During class students are taught classic bellydance movements and are reminded of correct body placement and technique allowing them to create “muscle memory”. We explore these movements working center, traveling, and in dynamic dance combinations. Classes begin with a Pilates warm up & finish with a restorative cool down and stretching. These classes are great for dancers of any style and level looking for a strong foundation rooted in culture, technique, and artistry.
* The mixed level classes are best for advanced beginning – advanced students. Andrea will give modifications & challenges when needed or desired.
Bellydance + Pop
This class is designed to get dancers out of their heads and into the dance. We will cover some technique but most of the class will be spent doing fun combinations to trending pop music & Egyptian hits. ALL LEVELS WELCOME
Dancers delve deep into cymbal patterns and Arabic drum rhythms while incorporating arms, classic belly dance moves and foot patterns across the floor. Beginning with simple, easy-to-learn patterns, we
progress to complex, advanced rhythms as the lesson continues. This is the perfect class for dancers to get musical and see how different elements combined create dynamic and sophisticated dancing.
Our Pilates classes are designed to help strengthen, condition, and coordinate the body in ways that inform our Bellydance practice and help keep us injury free.
ONLINE PRIVATES & COACHING
Andrea is available for online privates and coaching! Wether you want personal feedback on performances, support in choreography creation, help setting up a training plan, or just constructive insight from a seasoned professional, private lessons are a great way to level up your dance.
